Two new gers
Just before winter, two new gers are delivered on behalf of the foundation to a care home for children on the edge of Ulaanbaatar, made possible by marathon runner Erik Haver and Stichting Katholieke Wezenverzorging Breda.
Erik Haver is doing a sponsored run in Italy for the steppe children by participating in the Rome marathon. He reaches the finish after exactly 4 hours and 28 minutes and thus raises the fantastic amount of €4,950, more than enough for the construction of a complete living tent with accessories.

Since 2006, the foundation tries to improve the situation of the children in Mongolia each year. Thanks to donations and collection campaigns, we have built 26 gers (living shelters).
Even a relatively small amount of money can do a lot, because in Mongolia, where many herders earn barely twenty euros a month, your money is worth more than five times that!
Thank you to all who support our small but important work!
