Two new gers

Just before the winter, two new living tents are delivered on behalf of the foundation to a shelter for children on the outskirts of Ulaanbaatar. The money for the first ger was raised by the marathon runner Erik Haver and the second could be built thanks to the support of Stichting Katholieke Weeszorg Breda.

Erik Haver has raised a fantastic amount of €4,950 for the steppe children by participating in the Rome marathon, enough for a complete ger with accessories.

Help underprivileged children in Mongolia

Since 2006, the foundation tries to improve the situation of the children in Mongolia each year. Thanks to donations and collection campaigns, we have built 26 gers (living shelters).

Even a relatively small amount of money can do a lot, because in Mongolia, where many herders earn barely twenty euros a month, your money is worth more than five times that!
