Family in need gets own shelter

Ms. Delgertsetseg B. is a single mother with three children between 13 and 6 years old. Her husband died of lung cancer in 2017.

Despite a serious congenital disability, she works long days in a pharmacy, but she can hardly keep herself financially afloat.

She does not earn enough to be able to pay the rent for her ger with location in addition to the daily expenses.

In April, she was told by the owner that she should leave the ger by May 1.

Our employee in Ulaanbaatar asked for two weeks’ delay for her and immediately started building an own ger for the family.

The ger is traditionally painted and was delivered in mid-May.

Help underprivileged children in Mongolia

Since 2006, the foundation tries to improve the situation of the children in Mongolia each year. Thanks to donations and collection campaigns, we have built 26 gers (living shelters).

Even a relatively small amount of money can do a lot, because in Mongolia, where many herders earn barely twenty euros a month, your money is worth more than five times that!
